Major

Entrepreneurship

This program develops evaluation skills in students about how to test the viability of an idea before committing costly resources to make it a reality. It also provides practical tips on how the entrepreneur makes the idea sustainable in the long term through improvements, differentiation and innovation

Logistics Management

This course helps students to understand the principles, management, economics, finances, and other issues associated with the global logistics and transportation systems of the world by providing them with tools necessary to learn the cutting edge processes and standards associated with this field.

Hospitality Management

This course covers the growth and progress of the hospitality industry. Topics include tourism, lodging, resorts, gaming, restaurants, foodservice and clubs. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the background, context, opportunities that exist within the industry.

Quality Management

The course introduces the student to the principles, philosophies, and practices of Total Quality Management (TQM) and the techniques of Statistical Quality Control, including fundamentals of probability and statistics, control charts for variables and attributes, and acceptance sampling

Advertising

This major is designed for students who intend to pursue a professional career in the advertising-related industry. The course enhances the managerial, strategic planning, creative and media abilities of the student so that he/she can work in the major departments of an advertising agency or related setup.

Finance

Build well-rounded financial skills and learn the industry specific knowledge you will need to be successful in your career. Nixon lays the educational foundation with a curriculum that has a broad base in general education while touching upon a specific area of study.

Retail Management

This course aims to develop knowledge of contemporary retail management issues at the strategic level. Students learn to describe and analyze the way retailing works, specifically the key activities and relationships research.

Project Management

This course develops a foundation of concepts and solutions that supports the planning, scheduling, controlling, resource allocation, and performance measurement activities required
